Birdseed's Not Out of Time EP Review

I was honored to receive this limited edition vinyl record in the mail. With stickers!!!!!! Love it! The record is from a band called Birdseed out of San Francisco CA. The release date for this album is Aug. 4, 2017 with a follow up tour in the fall! Woooo! Tour time! This EP has a 70s rock vibe which I def dig! I love the song "We Can Do It." It has a good beat and I love the bongos;) Def a 70s soul vibe. For tour dates, EP info and band info please click here.

Jennifer Saran's Album Wake Up Review

I really enjoyed this album. I love how Saran involved Ladysmith Black Mambazo into the album. Ladysmith Black Mambazo are a South African male choral group singing in the vocal styles of isicathamiya and mbube. Super awesome sounding. The whole album is uplifting, positive and refreshing. Saran's vocals are beautiful and on point. This album also features well known artist such as Carlos Santana and Narada Michael Walden. I definatley recommend taking a listen. This album was released July 7, 2017. For more information on Jennifer Saran and the album Wake Up please visit jennifersaran.com.

Honeyboy and Boots Album Macon Review

Well what can I say but that I was excited to get a album from Mississippi. My favorite song on this album is "Get it off the vine!" Its a old time rock n roll song about home grown tomatoes! Who writes songs about home grown tomatoes? This band and it ROCKS! This is a great duo out of Mississippi that compliments each other well. This album is a good mixture of folky bluesy rocky music. Love the harmonica in "Macon." Pick your copy up, learn more about the band or listen here.
